In October 1985, a Ramen shop was opened at Daimyo lane in Hakata city. It had been once said that "Ramen shop is smelly, vulgar and messy". However, our shop is as tidy as e.g. the Soba shop in Kyoto, in order to have an image like "A girl would also be willing to go to Ramen shop by herself". You can hear jazz music in our shop. Shop staff wear T-shirts, aprons, and also boots and bandannas. People were enchanted by our delicious spare rib soup. Everything in this shop was simply breath taking. "Make a blast of wind in Hakata". We named our shop "Hakata Ippudo".
